“Three years ago, the first summit drew 101 women and last year 150 women attended,” said Kathryn Meany, director of Manhattanville’s Women’s Leadership Institute, which is within the college’s School of Business. “We anticipate further growth this year, and we are especially excited about the level of excellence of the presenters at this daylong summit, titled ‘Pursue Your Dreams.’”

Keynote speakers at the 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. conference are: Andrea Gilman, senior vice president for the Business Transformation and Franchise Development at MasterCard; and Jennifer Howland, executive for the Pathways Program at IBM.

Special presentations include: “Don’t Leave Home Without Your Leadership Roadmap,” featuring David Severance, advanced development services; “Field of Dreams,” a lunch panel with moderator Heidi Fuhrman, JD, Manhattanville board of trustees; and “Fast Forward: Know Your Power and Purpose,” with Kim Azzarelli from Seneca Point Global.

Some of the issues to be addressed by keynote speakers and presenters are: defining one’s leadership framework, shaping dreams by exercising leadership and power, and exploring power and finding purpose. A networking reception will be held after the conference, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. More information and registration visit community.mville.edu/msb or call 323-1482.
