Harrison High School will host the second annual Andrew Gurgitano Memorial Game on Saturday, May 7, as the Huskies baseball team will square off against their rivals from Rye in a contest that will celebrate the life of Gurgitano, a former Harrison pitcher who died suddenly in 2014.

The game will be held at 4 p.m. at Silver Lake Park in West Harrison to remember Gurgitano, who exemplified hard work, sportsmanship and integrity, both on and off the field. Prior to last year’s game, a senior player from each team was awarded the Andrew Gurgitano Memorial Baseball Scholarship Award.

Rye won the first contest in a 3-2 nail-biter.
