The Picture House Regional Film Center is making it easier — and more affordable — for students to enjoy movies on the big screen with the launch of Student Thursdays, a new weekly ticket offer at both its Bronxville and Pelham theaters.

Beginning this October, students receive 50% off movie tickets every Thursday at The Picture House. To receive the discount, students simply purchase their tickets in person at the box office and present a valid student ID.

“With so many colleges and universities in and around our communities, we want The Picture House to be a place where students feel welcome and can make going to the movies part of their week,” said Clayton Bushong, Executive Director of The Picture House Regional Film Center. “Student Thursdays makes the big-screen experience more affordable while giving students the chance to discover everything from new releases to independent films and special programming at our theaters.”

The new offer is available for students at both Picture House locations: The Picture House Bronxville 84 Kraft Avenue, Bronxville, NY and The Picture House Pelham 175 Wolfs Lane, Pelham, NY.
